The ZSO is an intermediate element of the central heating system and is used in modern heating systems. The DHW storage tank has a built-in flow exchanger for heating the domestic hot water. It is designed to store the excess heat energy produced by a wood biomass boiler, heat pump, solar system or a combination of these sources. The stored heat is then fed to different consumers depending on the needs of the heating system. All SELTRON heat storage tanks have special valves at the connections to reduce the possibility of mixing water in the tank. This preserves the maximum amount of heat that can be used to return to the heating system.

  • Multiple heat sources and consumers can be connected to the ZSO heat store.
  • The model with an integrated inverter allows the connection of a solar system.
  • Each heating source is connected to different zones of the storage tank according to its temperature characteristics.
  • Sanitary water is heated using the flow principle, which prevents the development of harmful micro-organisms.
  • The stainless steel heat exchanger causes water to swirl inside the exchanger, preventing scale build-up on the exchanger walls.
  • The SZO heat store has a built-in slider for variable positioning of temperature sensors.
  • The 90° angle of the connectors allows for angular positioning of the storage tank.
  • Removable insulation made of rigid polyurethane foam ensures excellent insulation and minimum heat loss, and facilitates the installation and assembly of the storage tanks.
  • Compared to soft foam, it offers up to 20 % better insulation performance at the same thickness.
