At the end of last year, EDER launched a major innovation in the field of automatic pressure maintenance systems. Introducing the Elko-mat EDER picocontrol compact solo PCK-S to cover the needs of small and medium sized multi-residential and commercial buildings and industrial plants.<\/p>

The great advantage of the PCK type is that, according to their technical characteristics, they cover about 80 % of actual residential and other needs (small to medium-sized blocks, production plants, retail and commercial buildings, etc.) at a significantly lower and more competitive price. Of course, with the control logic, operating principle and robustness of larger installations. In the above-mentioned range of facilities, the operating pressures range from approx. 2 to 4 bar, which is perfectly satisfied by the factory-integrated Wilo Pico pump and there is no need to install more powerful but also more expensive MCK-type devices for medium-sized facilities.<\/p>

Elko-mat EDER pressure maintenance devices work on the principle of pumped pressure maintenance with closed expansion vessels. Multicontrol (MCK) devices are designed to accept expansion volume and to maintain a constant pressure in closed heating and cooling systems according to EN 12828. Elko-mat EDER picocontrol is a pressure maintenance, low pressure venting device that can withstand a maximum working pressure of up to 6 bar. Optional components for controlled water make-up as well as for softening or desalination are also available for the device. The operating range, or available upper working pressure, is from 1,0 to 4,0 bar with extremely quiet operation. The sizes of the attached working diaphragm vessels are available from 45 to 500 litres.<\/p>
