Heating with fuel oil is still an important energy source and is still one of the most widespread ways of heating buildings and domestic hot water in Slovenia. In fact, heating oil is the ideal solution for those who want a reliable, efficient heating source with a maximum level of comfort. As long as the building is not very energy-intensive, a modern oil boiler can be an economical source of heating in terms of the resources invested and the comfort it provides.<\/p>

It is well known that oil prices started to fall sharply in 2015 and have remained at low levels until today. Analysts estimate that higher price rises are not expected in the coming years, as production capacity is growing faster than demand. At current prices, heating with fuel oil can be quite economical, even more so if you simply replace an old outdated boiler or a combination boiler with a new condensing oil boiler. Despite the widespread use of oil boilers, it is important to be aware that a large proportion of oil boilers in Slovenian homes are still outdated and operate at low efficiency. There is also still a relatively high proportion of combi boilers where the efficiency is also questionable and generally does not exceed 75 %. It is precisely in such cases that replacing an old less efficient boiler with a new one can be a very rational decision.<\/p>
